User Profile

Well, for starters, my name really is Julia Grim (I think that when one of my ancestors headed over here from Austria they were called Grimm, but thought it would be more American to drop an "m" along the way). It's somewhat annoying once in a while, when someone thinks I've invented my last name just to fit my image, but it's also an attractive name that has actually belonged to a large number of contemporary artists, so I think I'll keep it. For those of you that are currently unaware, I am the proprietress of a humble website dedicated to tastefully nude pinup photography and all manner of gaming and geekdom goodies (because everyone knows that those two things go together hand in hand) known as Grim-Kitten.com. At the moment I'm the proud "mom" of six cats, two chinchillas, two sugar gliders, six finches, seven gerbils, one mouse, and three aquariums (yes, I am an insane cat lady). I was easily taken in by crack-pedaling enterprise known as online gaming, probably because of how much it resembles my first gaming crush, Dungeons & Dragons. I am also addicted to comics, animation, and most things Disney (including Disneyland, but not Disney World, because who has the kind of energy it takes to walk all over half a million parks?). I have a tremendous lingerie fetish, and I'm ecstatic to finally be working on a business venture where my Victoria's Secret and Fredericks of Hollywood purchases can be considered a business expense. As to the rest of my free time, I try to spend it reading books or watching movies... as far as books that I've read that other people may have possibly read as well, some of favorite sets of books are the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett and the Belgariad (and therefore also the Mallorean) by David Eddings. I've also been rereading my old favorites, the Riftwar Saga by Raymond E. Feist and the childhood (and again as an adult) classic Watership Down. When I watch movies I only watch humorous movies with happy endings (bonus points for romance, anything pre-1960, or anything featuring Jackie Chan or Audrey Hepburn). Well, that's about it for me... I think that's more than enough for one person to write about themselves unless they're an egomaniac or actually interesting.
